Clinical Counselor

CAROLINE DORR

I believe in the power of healing by providing a safe and supportive environment for my clients. I believe each client has their own unique story and it is my job to explore how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are impacted by their personal experiences. The counseling process begins and ends with a willingness and grace to enter into an individual’s experience alongside them. As a counselor, I strive to facilitate the process of clients solving their own problems, while collaborating in goal setting to achieve desired outcomes.

I earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Auburn University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mississippi State University. Prior to joining the EDTC, team I worked in a community mental health setting. This afforded me the clinical experience in treating mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, substance abuse, eating disorders, bipolar, schizophrenia, and grief and trauma.

I am excited to call Albuquerque my new home and look forward to working with you on your path to recovery.
