Michelle started at EDTC as a graduate intern while pursuing her Masters of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. Her anticipated graduation date is August 2023. She carries a bachelors of Human Services.
Upon graduation Michelle anticipates continuing her work at Eating Disorders Treatment Center as a Clinical Counselor. She is passionate about helping individuals navigate through their eating disorder challenges, anxiety, depression, emotional distress, suicidal ideation, and gender and body distortion.
Michelle strives to provide a safe, empathic, non-judgmental environment where individuals find their voice and feel heard; Providing an eclectic approach understanding that the needs of each client are unique and tailoring her methods to each person individually; Working as part of a treatment team to help individuals find inner peace and supporting them on their way to a more positive emotional and physical wellbeing.
